- Global Views is proud to be the first manufacturer in the United States to present the latest technology in home decor: a sound-made Portuguese ceramic collection.
- The process begins with recording an amazing voice in a spaciously beautiful monastery in Alcobaca (pronounced al-ku-ba-sa), Portugal.
- A computer program first maps the coordinates for the base of the design and then allows the sound of the voice to create the shape that builds from there.
- Once completed, the digital design is 3D printed into a mold that's used to create slip-molded ceramic vases.
- You'll notice that the vessels are only available in a white finish as a tribute to the monastery's Cistercian aesthetic, which prohibited all colored and patterned stained glass.
- Only colorless stained glass was allowed for light to pass through as clean, pure, and white providing tranquility and calmness.
